CHIMES

These chimes can be played with a mallet or a bow. They are made from solid aluminum bar stock and resonate (ring) longer than any other bowed instrument I've ever heard. I take great care in making sure they are perfectly tuned. I use A = 440hz and equal temperament, the industry standard, but other systems are available.
The two standard sets I make are: 1. Major pentatonic scale, 6 pitches (shown). 2. Minor pentatonic scale, 6 pitches. You may also order any combination of pitches you like. |
